The LoTi Framework

      In the 21st century many teachers started implementing different innovative techniques in order to attract students into a significant learning process. The LoTi framework was created in order to show the different levels that exist according to the amount of innovation teachers use and implement during their teaching process. This includes the usage of technology, innovative materials and dynamic activities referring to interaction, assessment and evaluation in order to create students with high order thinking. Next, we will create a simpler or more mundane explanation of each LoTi Framework. 

       During my self evaluation I realized I am in the expansion level. In my school we use iPads almost everyday during our lessons. We have an online platform with different applications that match with our lesson programs. It's name is mimio , it is a platform that provides apps, games, practices and even quizzes. It comes with a smartboard that is placed in every classroom. Also we like to listen to music, watch videos, storytelling in youtube and more. Right now me even implemented another platform named reading ocean with is a reading platform that can be used in or outside of school for our students to be in constant practice and development. 

      I like the level where I am placed right now. Sometimes I struggle with some aspects so I believe I will be in the same place a year from now but more expert and fluent along with my students in all these technological devices and tools provided by my workplace. 

      To conclude, I had never listen about the different levels of teaching innovation ,but now that I am aware I will encourage myself to be on the last two at least. mostly because  want to give my students the best education possible. A year away I was in level 0, but now I am proud to be where I am standing.
